I was thrilled when I first got my hands on a copy of the beautifully designed book, 40 Days of Dating. This was another great design to add to my book collection. Timothy Goodman is also an art director and illustrator who runs his own studio in New York. The two of them have very different personalities and different dating styles, and despite having an immediate attraction to each other they never pursued a romantic relationship outside of their friendship.
The book began with an idea that was frowned upon by many friends of the pair. The two decided to start an experiment, based on the idea that it takes 40 days to change a habit, and started to date each other for 40 days.
